Made up of both Shia and Sunni Muslims, this community has speakers of Dari and Pashto. Some Pashtun have fled the Taliban’s influence back home, only to find more difficulty here due to linguistic barriers and cultural differences. Afghan believers exist, but are few. Those who turn to Christ face shunning from family and friends.

Lord, show these wonderful people from a war-torn land the true peace comes only from Jesus.
Lord, connect local Afghans with Christians to pray for them that they might witness your miraculous power accompanying your gospel.
Lord, please send laborers into the harvest, specifically to work with Afghans. Please give them cultural and linguistic giftings as well as Your power, passion and compassion to reach local Afghans.
