Gateway City Focus: Dallas/Ft. Worth
Dear Friend,
As summer kicks off, a fresh heat of excitement burns within me as I think about what God is doing among the nations deep in the heart of Texas! I’m delighted to have one of your Global Gates missionaries share about how God is opening doors and drawing those from unreached people groups to himself in Dallas-Fort Worth:
My family and I met an Iraqi woman named *Fatima through a local ESL ministry. We were ecstatic when she transitioned the conversation to Jesus. She had many questions, and we always pointed her back to the gospel. At this point, Fatima tugged at my shirt and said, “I had a dream last night about Jesus.”In her dream, Fatima was drowning in the ocean with no way to save herself from impending death. Fatima described the fear and panic she felt as she struggled to swim to the surface. She saw a necklace with a cross floating down before her. Fatima took hold of it, and put it around her neck. She was then propelled up and out of the water, where Jesus rescued her. This area is filled with many others who have accounts similar to Fatima’s story. Dallas-Fort Worth boasts a population of more than 7.5 million people, including hundreds of thousands who immigrated from gospel-deprived places. God has given churches access to engage some of the world’s least-reached peoples in their neighborhoods. Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, and Sikhs in Dallas-Fort Worth are discovering that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Our unreached neighbors, like Fatima, depend on faithful ESL teachers, fervent prayer, bold evangelists, intentional disciple-makers, and generous financial partners to support our labor in the harvest. God will continue to do more here and far beyond Dallas-Fort Worth through the obedience of ordinary people with extraordinary faith just like you. |

Thank you, dear friend, for helping us advance the gospel among the world’s most unevangelized populations in Dallas-Fort Worth and their ends of the earth communities.
Grateful for you,
